Jag Behöver er hjälp

I Need your help

Help a sister out!

ENGLISH:

I’m thinking .. I’m writing the blog in both English and Swedish .. But I currently all the headlines is in Swedish. Previously, I mixed english and swedish, but realized that it wasn’t good.
Should I have them in English? or should I stay with Swedish headlines?
I know that the majority of  you guys reading are Swedes, but many of you are not from Sweden, and feel I exclude you guys a little bit when the titles are in Swedish
What do you think? Does it bother you that the Headlines are in swedish? I don’t want to mix, so it’s either or..

I know I appreciate the English, but it doesn’t have to be in the title as I read your blog daily 😀

English headlines would be awesome, I’m from Australia and can only read English. However whatever you choose I’ll still love your blog.

I personaly wouldn’t mind if the headline was in Swedish, but it does kinda makes it harder for us to know what the post is about, so maybe you should do the English headline and then keep the text in both Swedish and English 🙂

I’m from Australia and only speak, read and write English. But I’m totally fine with you keeping it in Swedish 🙂 your content is always worth reading, so I can totally accept a Swedish title. Makes me feel more cultured hahaha

I guess Swedes know English as well, but I appriciate your love for your country and your language, I just feel like you should be equaly recognized both in Sweden and internationaly. Anyways, your work speaks all languages, therefore you will always have all the support! :*

I’m not a swedish reader, but I would suggest to leave the headlines in swedish and if possible add the english version as a heading to your english text/content translation.

I would prefer English, since most Swedes understand it anyway, and my Swedish is rusty… And most international readers don’t understand it at all.

English but would prefer if you wrote headlines that match the post. I don’t care when it comes to makeup pics but when you write about a product you should name the post the name of the product. sometimes when I forget to printscreen your product tips i try to search for the post in google like linda hallberg dry shampoo or linda hallberg kat von d palette but since you name your post “the most amazing palette” I don’t find your posts easily. Sometimes I never find them again which makes me a little frustrated because I really want to buy. Love your work Linda, keep up the good work.

    Hey Linda!
I don’t understand a word of swedish (except in the mind of those who mix up Sweden & Switzerland “Hey you’re swiss ? So you speak swedish?!” – “yyyeaaahhh but no” ^^) but I like the fact that you kept your mothertongue first. Swedish is so lovely!!!
I don’t mind scrolling down to see what the post is about so you can keep it that way 🙂

    Hej Linda,

Although I understand both languages, I’d vote for english headlines as they would help you to get more readers and followers from all around the world.

Using both is actually quite unique solution too. Doesn’t bother me at all… funnily enough, I haven’t even realized that you had two different languages in the headlines 😂😂😂.

    Love, Mirella

    Hi Linda!
I’m an American and I absolutely LOVE your work! I greatly appreciate that you include the English version in your blog posts. The titles have not been bothering me, but I don’t speak Swedish and I would love to know what you’re saying! I would be so happy if they were in English but I will definitely continue to read your blog posts no matter what you decide. You are my favorite makeup artist! ❤️

Kram!

I’m from Germany and really appreciate the English translations. However I don’t think the titles need to be in English 🙂

I mean you can always choose on a day to day basis of you wanna go with Swedish or English. And whatever fits your mood, the product or style the best is what you go with. Unless you want to be consistent?!

English would be better because your blog is international, and the title gives us an introduction…Im from México! And btw… I love you haha 😍

New non-swedish readers might not realize they can read your blog if the title and the first half of the article are in Swedish. While you always write your blog in English also, someone who doesn’t read Swedish, checking out your blog for the first time might not realize it. I know on my phone I have to scroll a bit to get to the English. Maybe to grow more internationally, an English title might be more appealing.

Heiii =) I’m from Switzerland and I don’t understand Swedish, but I think it would be better to write the titles in Swedish since it’s your language. =) I mean, as long as you explain it underneath in english as well, it really doesn’t matter right? =)

I don’t understand a word in Swedish but I really like that you use your language and don’t just write all in english. It’s not a problem for me that the title is in swedish, I actualy find it really nice !
You almost always give a subtitle in english and even if you don’t I will understand what it is about by reading the post and the pictures.

The headlines/titles being in Swedish don’t bother me. As long as I can read the product listings (and I can!) then I’m happy. Although I get a little bummed when all the descriptive text is in Swedish, as I find Google translate to be awful most of the time. I really appreciate when you translate the longer text in to English. 🙂
